Welcome to The Official Website of The American Tang Soo Do Association and The United Tang Soo Do Congress. The American Tang Soo Do Association is committed to helping Tang Soo Do instructors with a strong national organization that allows them to build on tradition individually but without the restrictions associated with most Martial Arts organizations.

The United Tang Soo Do Congress, founded by Grandmaster Byrne in 2006, provides that same support to Tang Soo Do schools and instructors located outside the United States, as well as providing a support system for other Tang Soo Do organizations located in the U.S.

Established in 1973, the A.T.A is one of the oldest Tang Soo Do organizations in the United States. We welcome Tang Soo Do stylists from all organizations at our events and see it as an opportunity to learn, grow and share in the community of Tang Soo Do.

Send checks payable to Byrne’s Tang Soo Do and mail to Grandmaster Byrne at 13 Porter Rd. North Reading, Mass. 01864. Sizes are sold on a first come first serve basis. ATA raises money for brain trauma research.
The Sports Legacy Institute and Christopher Nowinski participated in the 37th annual All Tang Soo Do Championship, for the second year in a row. With a raffle of great donated items, the ATA raised nearly $1500 for brain trauma education. Click here for full article.

2011 ALL TANG SOO DO CHAMPIONSHIP - March 25th, 26th.The 2011 international tournament has been scheduled and will be another classic, so save the date!

2010 International Tournament in Cardiff, Wales by the Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation - May 15th. The annual tournament in Cardiff, Wales was the largest it has ever been. Click here to see pictures from the event.

MetroWest Tang Soo Do is Kicking for a Cause. Every year this ATA school runs a Kick-A-Thon ro raise money for breast cancer awareness. All proceeds are donated to the Susan Komen 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. To read more, click here.

The Karate Kid Olympics has been scheduled for October 17, 2009 at Irish America on 177 West St. in Malden.
